Bennacer back to OM? A developing story
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Olympique de Marseille is seriously reopening the Ismaël Bennacer track. The Algerian midfielder, who we saw with us between January and June, could well set foot on the Vélodrome pitch again this summer. So, good or bad idea? Let's talk about it together.
A mixed record, but real potential
Let's be honest: Bennacer's time with us didn't leave an unforgettable impression on everyone. Yet, this guy has real technical qualities and solid experience, especially in Milan. His ability to calm the game, distribute cleanly, and hold the fort in the middle, isn't something you find every day. Should we give him another chance under De Zerbi's orders? What do you think?
The financial puzzle and the player's will
The salary issue is THE sensitive point. So far, we haven't managed to overcome this obstacle. Bennacer's contract runs until 2027 with AC Milan, and the Rossoneri don't intend to sell him cheap, especially after the departure of several key players from our team (hello Rongier and Koné). But be careful: Bennacer himself is keen to return to Marseille. His motivation could clearly tip the balance. In your opinion, should OM make a financial effort to bring back a player who is already established in the locker room?
A real need to strengthen the midfield
We all see it: our midfield has taken a significant hit with recent departures. In terms of experience and stability, it’s becoming urgent to find some solidity. Bennacer already knows the club, he wouldn’t need to adapt. But is that enough to make the leap, especially at the price Milan is asking? Is it worth the gamble?
Your opinion counts!
So, friends, should we take the gamble on Bennacer a second time? Do we bet on his return or do we look elsewhere? Share your opinions in the comments, let's discuss it together! Come on OM!
