Bruges gets tough: written guarantees demanded from OM for Ordóñez

The Ordóñez case is taking a new turn! We already knew that Bruges wanted to ensure the financial solidity of our OM before letting their 21-year-old defender, under contract until 2028, slip away. But now, they're upping the ante: it's no longer just words they demand, but written documents. Needless to say, they're not joking around at the negotiation table! To top it off (and not in a good way), Bruges is taking advantage of the interest from English clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, or Aston Villa to inflate the prices. Initially, it was about 30 million euros, and now, some media are already mentioning between 32 and... 40 million euros! For our OM, which already has to juggle a tight budget and wait for sales to bring in cash, it's no gift. Honestly, do you think we should break the bank for Ordóñez?

On the player's side, Ordóñez doesn't seem to be losing his cool.
