We're in the middle of a transfer saga with our Olympique de Marseille pushing hard to land Igor Paixão, the Brazilian dynamo from Feyenoord. According to fresh information from the Dutch media Voetbal International, a new meeting took place on Monday evening between the bosses of the two clubs. And now, attention, OM is going to play its "last card" with a final offer this Tuesday. So, will Paixão soon be in the white jersey or is it a new disappointment?

A complicated case – Feyenoord is tough in negotiations!

Let's not lie, the sticking point is mostly on the Dutch side. Feyenoord is driving up the price and does not want to let go of their winger just like that, especially since he has a contract until 2027. They bought him from Coritiba in 2022, and since then, he has racked up quite a few stats in the Eredivisie. For them, there's no question of selling off one of their best offensive players. A risky gamble: Paixão injured and uncertain

Another point that is up for debate, and not the least: Paixão is currently injured. A muscle injury will keep him off the field for at least a few weeks. Moreover, he returned to Brazil to recover and to handle administrative papers, including the crucial work permit to come and play in France. Can you feel this tight timing?
