Friends, who can no longer stand this Paixao saga? For weeks, the Igor Paixao track has dominated all our bistro discussions and club forums. Yet, the Brazilian left-winger still hasn't set foot on the Canebière. We thought that an agreement with the player would speed things up, but Feyenoord isn't budging. So, where does this hot issue really stand?

Management brings out the big guns

Confirmed info: Medhi Benatia flew to Rotterdam yesterday, accompanied by a large Olympian delegation. The goal is clear: convince the Dutch to let go of their 25-year-old gem. According to Mikos Gouka, discussions are intense, and OM is ready to invest to seal the deal. But beware, Feyenoord doesn’t seem willing to give any gifts...

A risky bet for our OM?

We know, Paixao ticks a lot of boxes: dynamic, technical, a good finisher, and already accustomed to Europe. For the attacking setup, it would be a real asset. But friends, at what cost? Feyenoord is asking for a hefty sum, and we don't have an unlimited checkbook. And if we put everything on Paixao, what about the other tracks? We risk missing out on other opportunities if it falls through at the last minute.

Crucial hours ahead: are we in or out?

What do you think? We feel that the club is ready to do anything for Paixao, but is it really worth going this far? If it doesn't get resolved very quickly, Benatia and the Olympian management will look elsewhere. Should we keep persisting, or change strategy? Tell us everything in the comments, there's a lot of discussion on this issue and we're waiting for your opinions!
