Amine Harit

Under contract until 2027, Amine Harit is a unique talent in our squad. In an increasingly systematized football, his instinctive dribbling profile, as a provocateur, is an invaluable weapon, especially against low blocks that pose so many problems for us. 

Harit is a one-on-one artist. His low center of gravity, explosive acceleration, and silky ball touch make him virtually elusive. It's no coincidence that he is one of the most fouled players in Europe; he is a full-fledged tactical weapon that earns us set pieces in dangerous areas. But he is much more than just a dribbler. He is a top-class creator, with an extraordinary vision for the final pass. His style is that of street football, inherited from his younger years in the Parisian region, a football made of instinct and genius. 

Last season, his statistics per minute played were staggering. In just 519 minutes in Ligue 1, he compiled 2 goals and 4 assists. His advanced creation metrics are astronomical: 0.42 xAG per 90 minutes (99th percentile) and 5.72 shot-creating actions (95th percentile). Minute for minute, he is our most dangerous and creative player. 

The fans love the show he puts on, but this admiration is often tinged with frustration. We love the player for his ability to create the unexpected, but we expect him to be decisive throughout a match, and not just in flashes. 

His challenge for 2025/26 is clear: consistency. We know he can create five chances in a match. He now needs to do it every week and ensure that this creativity translates more regularly onto the scoreboard. He needs to move from being a "moments" player to a "matches" player. If he passes this hurdle, his talent can take him to the top of the hierarchy of number 10s in Europe.
