Adrien Rabiot’s break with OM looks final. His camp has opened talks with Milan, while Longoria stays firm: €15M or nothing.

There’s hardly any doubt left: the story between Adrien Rabiot and OM is coming to an end. Despite apologies offered in his name to Roberto De Zerbi, the players and the club’s hierarchy, the Rabiot camp never agreed to truly make amends for Véronique Rabiot’s remarks. Result: the rift is now irreparable.

The Rabiot camp already looking to Milan

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Véronique Rabiot has already contacted AC Milan to sound out a move. The Rossoneri are also working on other deals but could position themselves. In any case, the French midfielder is preparing to move on from Marseille.

Longoria inflexible: €15m or nothing

According to Fabrizio Romano, OM are clear: Adrien Rabiot will not leave on the cheap. Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia are demanding €15 million, with no room for negotiation. The France international will not be sold off, despite the urgency of the situation.

De Zerbi loses a key player, OM look for a successor

Although De Zerbi had argued to keep him, the management chose to be firm. Rabiot is leaving, and a replacement must be found quickly. Hamed Junior Traoré has already arrived, but OM still need to bolster their midfield to make up for the loss of a player who carried considerable weight in the dressing room.

And you, Team OM?

So, good or bad decision? Should Rabiot have been given another chance, or was it time to move on at all costs? And above all: who should come in to fill the void? Have your say in the comments!
