OM Transfer Market: Weah, Rongier, Aguerd... An Update on the Hot Topics
Hello team! Beyond the major offensive issues, other significant movements are brewing behind the scenes at OM. Let's take stock of the rumors swirling around our club.
Timothy Weah: The Versatility that Appeals to OM
The American international Timothy Weah wants to join OM! It's certain. The player is attracted to the project and his versatility (capable of playing on the entire right flank and even in attack) is a major asset. The hitch? Juventus. OM would prefer a loan, but the Italian club wants a straight transfer or an obligatory purchase option.
“Valentin Rongier was proposed in discussions between Juve and OM for Tim Weah!” - Seb -H- Foot
OM even tried to include Valentin Rongier in the deal to lower the cost, but for now, Juve does not seem to be making the Olympian captain a priority.
Valentin Rongier: A Departure at 10M€?
The case of our captain, Valentin Rongier, is much talked about. The management has placed him on the transfer market and has set his price at 10 million euros. A decision that may surprise, but is explained by his contractual situation (only one year left on the contract). Sunderland and three other clubs, whose names have not surfaced, are said to be interested. A departure of our 'Captain Courage' seems increasingly likely.
Nayef Aguerd: A Cooling Prospect?
To strengthen the central defense, the name Nayef Aguerd has been mentioned. OM appreciates his profile, but the dossier is complex. West Ham would not be open to a loan and would demand a substantial sum for a transfer. Additionally, the competition is tough, with AS Roma notably getting in touch with the English club. For now, it seems OM must turn to other options for its central defense.
The transfer window is still long, team, and things can move very quickly! What do you think? Which issue excites you the most? Let's discuss in the comments! For all the details, check out the latest video from Seb -H- Foot. Go OM!
